LAND ROVER BEING SOLD AT AUCTION
Here's a list of Land Rovers and Range Rovers that I've seen sell at auction over the past two weeks. These cars are probably on your local car lots right now. Stay away from these ones: 2008 RANGE ROVER SPORT in black with bad bodywork and paintwork on the left side and a rough interior SALSK25468A128140. 2007 Range Rover HSE with previous paintwork and bodywork and two broken bumpers SALME15487A261250. 2006 LR3 HSE in white with dents and dings everywhere and bad paintwork on the left side SALAG25446A359502. 2006 LR3 in green with bad bodywork and paintwork everywhere SALAE24426A403228. 2007 Range Rover Sport SC with dents and scrapes on half of the vehicle SALSH23437A115250. 2008 RANGE ROVER SPORT with scrapes on both bumpers, dings everywhere, and some door damage due to a repo SALSK25458A128355. I have a few hundred more cars to post here to get myself up to date, but no time today. I'll add more later.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate the service you provide. I am looking at a Jaguar Xk. It's located at a dealer in LV. Do you have this VIN on your do not purchase list?
2008 JAGUAR XK
VIN: SAJWA44B385B20081
CONVERTIBLE
Thanks,
Steve Hannes

I don't have any condition reports or info on this vehicle because it was sold at auction about 18 months ago. Most of those condition reports have been destroyed already. The carfax and autocheck reports are clean and show no accidents. There are a few wierd things about this XK though. It was repossesssed from the original owner back in early 2008 and sold at auction. It was then sold to someone else who only had it for a short time and now it's being offered at Norm Baker Auto Sales. In the pics of the vehicle, it has an "R" badge on the trunk and in their video the "R" has been removed. One of the two previous owners but a bigus "R" on the back of the car to try to pass it off as an XKR. That seems odd for a car of this caliber, you usually see that stuff on Hondas and other Japanese cars. I can't find any other negative stuff about this one. I'd just get it inspected for previous paintwork and bodywork before buying. Also, the price is not really so great. I think the 2007s for around $45,000 are a better deal. In the next year or so, the 2007s and 2008s will be worth roughly the same, so if you spend $7,000-$9,000 more now...that money is out the window. Either way..good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks man, you're great! I ended up buying SAJWA44BX75B10470 instead. Hopefully I did OK. This is not an R. The first one was actually sold already just before I was ready to make an offer. Good thing.
ReplyDeleteBest to you...
Good luck with the XK. It looks great in red.
