More crappy jaguars being sold at auction today

I spent the day at the manheim auto auction in Atlanta, GA. I bought a nice group of Jaguars and Range Rovers today and saw alot of other dealers overpaying for some real junk ones. Here's a few examples of junk cars that you should avoid. 2006 Jaguar XJ8 with previous paintwork and bodywork everywhere and a replaced door SAJWA71B46SH038045. 2007 XK Coupe in silver with previous bodywork on 2 panels and a cracked bumper SAJWA43B575B13052. 2007 Jaguar XK Convertible in frost blue with previous bodywork on 4 panels and a replaced fender SAJWA44B375B09905. 2007 Jaguar XJ8-L with previous body repairs on 4 panels SAJWA79B37SH17211. 2007 jaguar XK Cab in black with bad paintwork and bodywork on 4 panels SAJWA44B575B07668. 2005 JAG XJ8 VDP with previous bodywork everywhere and hail damage SAJWA82CX5SG44750. 2007 jaguar XK Cab in blue with previous paintwork and bodywork on 3 panels and the wrong wheels SAJDA44B675B04172. 2007 Jaguar XK Convt in green with big dents and dings on every square inch of the car SAJDA44B875B03296. 2006 jaguar XJ8 in zircon blue with previous bodywork on 6 panels and 3 replaced body panels SAJWA71B26SH00796. 2008 jaguar XJR in black with previous paintwork and bodywork on 4 panels SAJWA73C58TH25324. 2006 Jaguar XJ8 with hail damage and 3 panels of previous bodywork SAJWA71B96SH07714. I'll post more cars later, I have hundreds of them to post from the past few days of shopping. My advice for anyone out there car shopping right now is to be careful. The car market is on fire right now and alot of dealers who don't know cars very well are buying some complete junk to try to fill their lots. They are buying problems that can never be made right again. Do your research on the car that you're looking at and do your research on the dealer.

  1. This is great information! There should be a searchable database for everyone to share their findings. I bought a auction vehicle earlier this year and ran into some issues with paintwork and hidden damage that were ultimately addressed by MB Financial. I'm in the market again now and would love to get your insight.

  2. You're right. There really should be a database of condition reports for all cars that have been inspected either by an auction or a lease return company. That info is alot more important than a carfax or autocheck report. I plan on posting info to this blog as often as I can. I have a few hundred more cars to add when I get time.

  3. My advice is it is very important to purchase cheap carfax reports to avoid getting ripped off.
