UPDATES COMING SOON ON BMW M SERIES CARS

I haven't updated this blog on a regular basis for a while. I do plan to get back on track and update this thing regularly. I've been buying alot of BMWs and particularly M6 coupes and convertibles and M5 sedans. I've bought plenty of nice ones for my dealers, but I have passed on dozens of garbage ones that are 100% completely worthless. These cars seem to be like the old Mustangs and Camaros were in the 90's ( I think this may be the only comparison between the mustang/camaro and a BMW M series). I'm only talking about conditions here. The M Series cars are alot like the Mustang and Camaro in that they are either perfect cars in awesome shape or they are complete garbage and not worth a dollar. If you buy an M series car that is beat up and battered around and needs to be put back together like Humpty Dumpty, it will cost you more than the value of the car and you'll always have a battered up pig of a car that you'll never be proud to own. I have dozens of VIN numbers and condition reports from the turds that I've seen over the past 30 days. I'll post this info when I have time.

I spent my day today at Manheim's Atlanta Auto Auction. I bought 11 cars today for different dealerships, mostly BMW product. The market is still hot. There is a short supply of good cars and a very short supply of nice sports cars and Land Rovers. I'm traveling to manheim, PA tonite for the high-line sale tomorrow. SPENT THE DAY IN NASHVILLE, TN BUYING RANGE ROVERS

I spent my day today in Nashville, TN and Manheim's nashville auto auction. I bought 10 Range Rovers for a customer of mine who exports the cars to Russia. I also bought a few for dealers of mine in PA and NJ and I bought a few BMWs for a dealer in PA. I saw alot of nice cars today, but by far there were alot more crappy cars than nice ones. I'll take some time over the next few days to get the VIN numbers and info posted for them. I'll be in Manheim, PA tomorrow buying more Rovers, jaguars, and BMWs.

Alot of crappy cars being sold as "Certified"

I did some shopping around online today and was shocked at the number of cars with previous paintwork, bodywork, replaced body panels, etc that are being advertised by franchised dealerships as "certified pre-owned" cars. It makes me wonder what "certified" actually means. I did some google searches on some of the VIN numbers that I've posted to my blog in the past few weeks and I'm finding them at new car dealerships all over the country and they're advertised as "certified". I guess that certified doesn't mean anything more than being mechanically checked out. Anyways, here are some more VIN numbers for cars that I saw sell on the wholesale marketplace this week. I spent my day today at Manheim Auto Auction in Orlando, FL. The market is still hot for all cars and there were a ton of junk ones sold today for outrageous money. The following cars were just sold today, so they probably will ot be hitting the retail market for a week or so. Most of these cars have clean history reports, but alot of previous or current damage. Watch out for the following pieces of junk, you might find these at your local dealerships disguised as nice cars. Another day at the auction

I spent my day today at Manheim Auto Auction in Manheim, PA for their bi-monthly exotic highline auction. I saw saw some really nice cars today and ended up buying 9 of them. I also saw some really junk cars and alot of dealerships fighting for them. The following VIN numbers and information are for cars that were offered for sale today. They should be back at dealership lots within a few days and up for sale to the public sometime soon. Watch out for these used-up cars. They should not be bought by anyone. Let's start with the Jaguar XKs again. SAJWA43BX75B16013 is a 2007 XK coupe in dark blue with a replaced fender, previous paintwork and body repairs, and alot of minor damage that needs fixing. SAJWA43B175B08558 is a 2007 XK coupe in silver with at least 6 panels with previous bodywork and it needs more work to make presentable. SAJWA44C679B12850 is a 2007 XKR Cab with bodywork on six panels. SAJDA44B475B00945 is a 2007 XK Cab with alot of bad bodywork that will need to be redone by a proper body shop. WP0CA29806U711634 is a 2006 Porsche Boxster that looks like total garbage. It has replaced fenders, a replaced door, and previous bodywork everywhere. WP0AA298X7U760963 is a 2007 porsche Cayman that has previous paintwork and bodywork on every square inch of the car. 4JGBB86E96A084600 is a 2006 Mercedes-Benz ML350 in white that also has previous bodywork and paintwork everywhere. I spent my day at the Manheim Auto Auction in Nashville, TN today. I looked closely at hundreds of cars and ended up buying only 12. The market is still on fire and there is still a shortage of good used cars. This problem is forcing almost all buyers to come home with less desirable cars than they would like. Buyers are settling for cars with accident histories, previous bodywork, current body damage, etc to fill their lots. Here are a few of the junk cars that I saw get sold today. Let's start this blog with a few more Jaguar XK coupes and convertibles that are complete garbage. These are all new style 2007-2008 Jaguar XKs with previous paintwork, body repairs, and overall just junky cars that you don't want to own for any price. In addition to these XKs, stay away from this 2006 X-Type R SAJWA03C261N63455. It has scratches, dents, dings, and chips on every square inch of the car and it will never be right. I also have two Land Rover LR3s for you: SALAE25457A431069 and SALAG25417A426736. The last VIN for today is the biggest piece of junk Range Rover Sport that i have ever seen. This one is a supercharged 2006 model in black with only 27,000 miles. It has been painted on every panel and needs to be painted again due to damage. Stay away from this turd: SALSH23406A961236. The used car market was hot again all week long at every auction in the country. New car sales are down drastically, so the used market is flooded with customers and there is a shortage of good used cars to fill those empty spots on dealership lots. There are alot of dealers out there who are not patient enough to wait for good cars, they'd rather fill their lots with anything than be empty. Here's a short list of crappy cars that you should avoid. If you see these cars for sale somewhere, run fast! Here's some more Jaguar XKs that are worthless. These cars are not nice and you should avoid them at all costs. The last one for today is a 2006 BMW M Roadster VIN 5UMBT93536LY52339. This M Roadster has been painted on alot of panels and needs serious cosmetic repair to make it look nice. I've been buying cars like crazy for the past few months. The used car market is on fire right now and shows no signs of slowing. I'm going to start regularly posting VIN numbers for some beat-up cars that I see at auctions. These are cars that either have been sold at auction or are sitting at auction waiting for sale. I'll only post VIN numbers for cars that are truely garbage and should not be bought by anyone for any amount. These cars are usually bought at wholesale auctions for dirt cheap because no reputable dealer wants them, and then they are sold to an unsuspecting retail buyer who does not know the difference until the car falls apart or the wax wears off and shows all of the previous bodywork, etc. Most of these cars probably have a clean carfax report, so don't rely on the carfax alone when shopping.
